- Medes Islands (L'Estartit) — Spearfishing prohibited, Girona, Catalonia. Marine protected zone around the Medes Islands. Spearfishing is prohibited; diving is allowed only by permit and quota. One of the most closely monitored areas of the coast.
- Cap de Creus — Restrictions / zoning, Girona, Catalonia. Natural park with marine zones. Within the park there are marine conservation cores with total prohibition; in the remaining waters—restrictions. Check the park's zoning before visiting.
- Ses Negres (Begur) — Spearfishing prohibited, Girona, Catalonia. Protected zone (zona vedada) near Begur. Any harvesting, including spearfishing, is prohibited.
- Columbretes Islands — Spearfishing prohibited, Castellón, Valencian Community. Volcanic archipelago 30 nautical miles offshore. Hunting and fishing are prohibited; mooring and diving are permitted only by authorization.
- Irta (Peñíscola—Alcossebre) — Spearfishing prohibited, Castellón, Valencian Community. Marine reserve along the Irta sierra. Spearfishing is prohibited within the reserve boundaries.
- Cap de Sant Antoni (Dénia—Jávea) — Spearfishing prohibited, Alicante, Valencian Community. Marine reserve of the Generalitat of Valencia. Spearfishing is prohibited throughout the reserve.
- Serra Gelada (Benidorm—Altea) — Restrictions / zoning, Alicante, Valencian Community. Natural park with marine strip. Around the Benidorm and Mitjana islands there are prohibited sub-zones; in the remaining park waters—restrictions.
- Cabrera Archipelago (Mallorca) — Spearfishing prohibited, Balearic Islands. Maritime national park—the highest protection level in Spain. Spearfishing is completely prohibited; entry and mooring are regulated by permits.
- Sa Dragonera (Mallorca) — Restrictions / zoning, Balearic Islands. Natural park of Dragonera Island with marine strip. Park restrictions apply; clarify the marine zoning.
- Northeast Ibiza—Tagomago — Restrictions / zoning, Balearic Islands. Marine reserve of the Balearic Government. Spearfishing is prohibited in reserve cores; in specific sectors it is permitted with restrictions—verify the zoning.
- Tabarca Island — Spearfishing prohibited, Alicante, Valencian Community. Spain's first marine reserve (1986). Spearfishing is prohibited throughout the reserve.
- Cabo de Palos—Hormigas Islands — Spearfishing prohibited, Murcia. One of the most protected reserves in the Mediterranean. Spearfishing is prohibited throughout; the integral core is closed to diving without authorization.
- Malgrats Islands (Santa Ponça) — Spearfishing prohibited, Balearic Islands. Marine reserve at the Malgrats Islands off southwestern Mallorca. Spearfishing is prohibited.
- Illa del Toro (Mallorca) — Spearfishing prohibited, Balearic Islands. Small marine reserve at the islet of Illa del Toro. Spearfishing is prohibited.
- Llevant Peninsula (Mallorca) — Restrictions / zoning, Balearic Islands. Marine reserve on eastern Mallorca. Hunting is prohibited in reserve cores; restrictions apply to the remaining waters—verify the zoning.
- Ses Salines (Ibiza—Formentera) — Restrictions / zoning, Balearic Islands. Natural park covering the straits between Ibiza and Formentera. Within are conservation cores with total prohibition and Posidonia meadows; hunting is restricted—verify the park's zoning.
- Cabo Tiñoso (Cartagena) — Spearfishing prohibited, Murcia. Marine reserve since 2016. Spearfishing is prohibited within the reserve; outside—Murcia's general regulations apply.
- Cabo de Gata—Níjar — Restrictions / zoning, Almería, Andalusia. Natural park with extensive marine zone. Within are reserve zones with total prohibition; restrictions apply to remaining waters. Verify the PORN zoning.
- Freus (Ibiza—Formentera) — Restrictions / zoning, Balearic Islands. Reserve of the Balearic Government. Hunting is prohibited in reserve cores; in specific sectors it is permitted with restrictions.
- Palma Bay (Mallorca) — Spearfishing prohibited, Balearic Islands. Spearfishing is prohibited within the Palma Bay reserve.
- Masía Blanca (El Vendrell) — Spearfishing prohibited, Tarragona, Catalonia. Small circular reserve with 0.2-mile radius: integral core where only scientific work is permitted. Surrounding it is a 0.6-mile buffer zone with restrictions.
- Columbretes: El Murall del Cementeri Core — Spearfishing prohibited, Castellón, Valencian Community. Integral core within the Columbretes reserve—maximum protection level; any harvesting is prohibited.
